Friday Favorites

Today, is Friday so I am linking up with Veronika from Veronika's Kandy Koated Dreams for "Friday Favorites". This week I have been going on walks with my dogs, and the Pandora station I decided on was Southern Rap! All the songs that would come on would bring back some GREAT memories from my years at Texas Tech!! I sometimes wish I could go back to nights I spent with some of my good friends...Especially since we have pretty much drifted away from each other! Well, ladies this if for you! Ya'll will ALWAYS have a place in my heart and I will NEVER forget ALL the fun we had!

Well those are just  a FEW of the thousands of memories and pictures I have...I will have to dedicate a post for MORE Tech FUN!!

It is getting closer to little man being here! I had two people I know already have their babies and they were due in October! So, I've been really in the crunch to get all the LAST things complete! That's where one of my favorites come!

For some reason....Coke and Hershey Chocolate have been on my MIND everyday! So, one night my sweet boyfriend stopped on his way home to get me a sweet treat!! 

 Yum! I was VERY surprised he stopped! For everyone who knows him he has to be told "Stop and get me a coke and chocolate!" I didn't!! I actually told him I could live without it!! :) So Sweet!!

Walking! 

So far I've walked 6 miles this week!! MUCH better from what I was doing...which was NOTHING!! I just need to keep it up!! The dogs are loving it and I am as well!!

I've been enjoying the stations, Southern Rap & Southern Hip Hop Radio!! Really helps the walking!!

Well, those are my Friday Favorites! Nothing CRAZY and out of this world!! I am just trying to enjoy life as much as I can!! It won't be TOO much longer, where all my blogs are going to be about is the little bundle of joy, I am trying to get ready for!! :)

Thinking Ahead!!

So, the time is almost here!! This baby could honestly come anytime, he may want to meet us before his due date...or he may want to wait till I am extremely miserable!! I am definitely hoping for the BEFORE! I was talking with my mom and sister, and came up with the date I think he will be there!! And that lucky date is October 22nd!

Knowing that he could come anytime, I thought it would be good to start getting all of MY stuff organized! My closet was a complete disaster, luckily I knocked that out today, I just need to keep up with it! I then started packing my hospital bag! Which I still have some stuff to get!!

I've also been thinking about ways that I am going to lose this baby fat!! I thought I would share it with ya'll so if any of you guys are in the same boat, you will get ideas and also share some with me!!

So that is what I think will help me to lose my weight!! Let's see how well I do!

This is the DVD I use now, but am excited that there is a postpartum section!-I highly recommend this DVD

~NO FASTFOOD~

Man...I think this is going to be REALLY hard...but if I have groceries and meals already in the house, I should be able to conquer this!! This means NO MORE FRENCH FRIES!! :(

Well, I hope I all of my ideas will help me to lose my weight and get back to my pre-pregnancy body!! Everyone keep your fingers crossed!! I'll post pictures once the time comes!! :) For those of you who are in the same boat as me, hopefully my ideas helped you! If you have any other suggestions let me know!! I would love more things to help me out!!

"Friday Favorites"

Well, I am doing another link-up!! This time it's with lovely Veronika :) who is a true doll, check her out at Veronika's Kandy Koated Dreams, you won't regret you did! This is my FAVORITE roll...it is called the Cosimo Roll...and it is lovely!! :) if there is a Sushi Zushi around you, I recommend this roll, with out a doubt!

It's that time of year again! All the shows are premiering!! So far this week I have a couple that I just LOVE, and so excited to share them! 

This is the first season for this show, and it was GREAT! I wish it would have just played ALL night long!! Such great drama, seems there is going to be a lovely love story!! :) I think it's going to be one of my top 3 shows this season!!

So Grey's is on their 8th season, and there have been SO many changes, especially last season! Last nights episode was really good...chaotic,  your typical Grey's...I love it and always will, it kind of seems they are stretching thin on ideas for the show. I still love it though!

Okay, so for the people that don't know me, I am 35 weeks pregnant expecting my first little baby!! So, I've been getting ready for him! When I was little my mom bought my sister and I a CD/Book set, called Kids Songs. I felt it was only appropriate to get my little bundle one! So, I have been jamming out in my car or just humming or singing the songs to him!! Our favorite one was Sandwiches! and I really think that is his favorite as well! Every time I sing it, he starts moving around and giving me a little kick or punch! So if you have children, I really recommend this set!!

Monday!!...Football & More!

WELL! It's BACK! Monday Night Football!! Opening night it's going to be the Miami Dolphins! GO DOLPHINS GO!  I went to the store today to get some snacks and get Lones some beer....I wonder if people look at me like...umm she shouldn't be drinking that!! HaHa!! Just so ya'll all know, I am NOT drinking it!! Wish I could, but little man doesn't need to get his first sip of alcohol until he's 21!! :) 

I've been wanting to order these really cute flip flops, but they don't specify what their sizes mean!! xs, s, m.!!  I mean I thought this was the one area that I would know my size!! With this belly and all I never know what size to get in womens!! So, looks like I'll be calling customer service!! :) 

Well, as we know by now Reggie Bush was traded to the Dolphins this year...so gives me a better reason to like them now!!

Football Season is a GREAT time of  year! I feel I need a fantasy team so I am more involved and caring more about the outcome of games!! 

Dallas played last night against the Jets, I like the Jets WAY more than the Cowboys! Ever since Romo joined I just find them to be useless!! Last night was a prime example! Poor guy should just retire now!! 

I know I'm a Texan...and should LOVE the Cowboys....but that is just NOT going to happen! My Dad and step mom gave me some Cowboys Onesies that the little man is going to have to wear at least one time!! So their happy!! HaHa!! I guess I'll live those few hours...maybe he will burp up on it so he has to be changed! ;) 

Other sports going on tennis, the US Open. Yesterday I was VERY disappointed watching my FAVORITE tennis player, choke it up and lose!! 

She was doing awesome the whole tournament...and then the darn final came...and she lost! :(  Oh well for being out as much as she has due to health problems, she did well....and her DRESS! So cute!! I can't wait to get back to playing some tennis!! I played around when I had a baby bump...it was FUN but baby didn't seem to like it! 

Right now, Nadal & Djokovic are playing...All I will say is Nadal needs to pick it up!! He isn't looking too great....My main man is Federer but he lost in the semis to Djokovic! 

OHH...this is off the subject of sports...but when I got into my car today, I felt like I was stuck...YEAH! Someone spit their gum RIGHT next to my car and I didn't see it, pretty sure I stepped on it and not only did I stick it got all stringy wrapped around my leg got on my floor mat....I was livid but also disgusted!! All I can say is how RUDE!!! If ONLY I knew who did it! I would chew a WHOLE pack and put it in front of their door!! Okay well that is my rant for the day!! :) 

I hope ya'll started the week of wonderfully! Mine was a relaxing Monday! I got my changing pad, and should be getting my diaper bag tomorrow, HOPEFULLY!! If FedEx knows whats good for them!!

FINALLY...FINISHED...

SO...I've had a pretty busy week! Classes, Katy Perry Concert...which was AWESOME! Washing all the little man's clothes, blankets, towels and sheets! BOY, he has a lot of stuff!! Tomorrow I'm going with my mom and sister to tour the hospital, that is going to make everything so surreal! We are also volunteering at 6 am to feed the homeless! Man, what was I thinking! It will be a good thing!! :) Well, I've been working on getting everything organized for the baby! His drawers, his crib, decorations, and everything else! For the most part it is done...

Next, is the drawers that I have organized, even though we ALL know it will not be like that once he gets here!! :) I will try but my focus will be else where!

NOW we need baby! :) He will be here so soon!! It is crazy how fast it has gone by! I can't wait, but I am very NERVOUS!! I can't imagine how it is going to be!

I hope ya'll are having a wonderful weekend! Mine has been pretty laid back with finishing most of my projects!! Tomorrow, will be a long day! Waking up at 5:20, going to feed the homeless, then hospital at 1:30 and going to the in-laws sometime when Lones gets off work....what a day!! HOPEFULLY I'm able to sleep unlike last night!!
